The Experience and is not connected to or responsible for the actions or practices of the selected venue, and assumes no liability for an injury or death of an individual attending A-Train Live! The Experience, if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of contracting COVID-19.  You are assuming this risk by entering these premises.

Here's what we're doing to keep our Staff, Patrons, and Comedians healthy...


1. MASKS ARE MANDATORY.  You must wear a mask to Enter. You must wear it during CHECK-IN and while in VENDOR, FOOD, and BEVERAGE spaces. You may remove your mask once seated, but are asked to wear it whenever you leave your table.  

2. All staff and customers will have their temperature checked upon entering the venue with a contactless thermometer. Anyone with a temperature higher than 99.6 degrees will not be allowed.

3. Hand sanitizer stations are located at the venue entrance and throughout the venue. We do however recommend customers to come with their own.

4. Capacity of each show has been reduced to allow for safe social distancing inside the showroom.

5. Staff members who have been sick, may have been exposed to positive Covid 19 individuals, or who are not feeling well will not be permitted  on site.

6. All high-touch surfaces (including but not limited to) tables, chairs, door knobs, faucets, restrooms, and more have been sanitized and will be disinfected throughout the evening. For further details on venue sanitation, please see venue management.

7. All staff members will wear masks and gloves for your safety and theirs.

8. Customers are required to wear masks at all times but can remove them while eating or seated. Any movement within the showroom, a mask must be worn.

9. All food will be served in disposable service ware and flatware is individually packaged.

Jacksonville's favorite funny man is back just in time to kick off his annual Birthday Celebration! With limited capacity, we're returning to WJCT. Enjoy exclusive live access in an intimate setting with limited privileged seating, live studio audience/production experience, and the A-Train Live Marketplace is back. Masks required. Temperature checked. Social distancing enforced.


Comedian A-Train, host of the ultimate night of entertainment, A-Train Live! The Experience, seen on Funny Not Famous on Afro TV and Season 6 of Braxton Family Values, has traveled and opened for Original King of Comedy D. L. Hughley, Bill Bellamy, and more, and can be seen headlining all over the country.

Little known history fact: Comedian A-Train is the first and only comedian to have a comedy series take residence in the Historic Ritz Theatre & Museum since its inception in 1929. A-Train Live! The Experience is the largest and longest running comedy series in the city and is indeed the hottest ticket in town. With sold-out show after sold-out show, it can be seen in residence at WJCT Channel 7 Studios Jacksonville.


Rodney Perry

Rodney Perry, comedian, actor, writer, producer, and director is most known for serving as co-host on BET's late night talk show The Mo'Nique Show where he provided laughs alongside actress and comedian Mo'Nique five nights a week 2009-2011. Perry served four seasons as co-host and Man on the Street for TV One's comedy competition Bill Bellamy's Who's Got Jokes? He's also appeared on HBO's Def Comedy Jam, BET's Comic View, Showtime's Jamie Foxx's Laffapalooza, Starz Network's Martin Lawrence Presents First Amendment Stand-Up, E! Network's Chelsea Lately, and Byron Allen's Comics Unleashed. On the big screen, Perry joined Tyler Perry and a host of stars in Tyler Perry's 2011 film Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family. Perry has also teamed up with Tony Rock in the film The Last Laugh, a drama about comedy. He has also appeared in movies such as: Johnson's Family Vacation, Mr. Right, Not Another Black Movie, Tales, and most recently, Coming 2 America, plus a host of other films and television shows. Off the Chain Presents: Rodney Perry was Bounce TV's highest-rated original program when it debuted in 2015. It is available on digital download along with his comedy albums, "44 And Still Standing" and "Survivor."
